Dr. Sumera Khan Hashmi is a qualified and young psychiatrist with a sound knowledge of various mental health issues and behavioural problems encountered in ethno-culturally diverse population. She earned her graduation and postgraduation degrees from Universities of Madhya Pradesh securing distinctions as well as Gold medals throughout her training period.

She has 7 years of experience in her field and utilizes well-rounded approach to treat the whole illness, through medications, active listening, and recommending talk-centered counselling programs. Comfortable working with individuals having severe problems such as suicidality and major mental illnesses.

Dr. Sumera has special interest in women's mental health and focuses on understanding and treating psychological conditions that uniquely or disproportionately affect women across their lifespan. She is attuned to the societal and cultural factors that uniquely influence women's mental health, such as gender roles, workplace stress, body image issues, and the balancing of work and family life.
